General Safety Precautions:

  • Seek professional medical advice before combining any natural remedy with any prescription and/or non-prescription drug
  • Moderate amounts of something can be helpful, while too much can have the opposite effect, so do not use an excess of any medicine, natural or not, no matter the form. Where a dosage is given, it is for an average sized adult (of about 200lbs). Adjust doseages for adults according to weight, reduce doses for children ages 6-12 by about 1/2, and for children ages 2-6 by about 1/4 to 1/3 of an average adult dose. When trying new remedies (natural or not), follow directions, start with very dilute forms and/or use only about 1/4 to 1/2 of the suggested dose the first time, unless you have already used all of its ingredients before without any allergic reactions or other negative side effects
