The following whole food recipes are principally vegetarian, although ingredients can always be added or substituted to make them vegan, or even non-vegetarian. (See below for information on customizing these and other recipes to suit your needs).

Veggie Burger
1C uncooked rolled oats or barley
1/2C cooked rolled oats or barley
1/2C cooked soybeans
1/2C sunflower seeds
1/2C cooked rice
1/2C walnuts
1/4C refried beans
1/4C chopped onion
1/4C chopped celery
1/4C diced mushrooms
1/4C chopped bell pepper
2 minced garlic cloves
2tbsp soy sauce
1tbsp parsley flakes
1tsp sea salt
1tsp basil
1/2tsp pepper, mustard, cumin powder, oregano, dill weed, thyme and sage (each)

Saute onions and garlic in oil; add rice, bell pepper, celery, mushrooms and saute 5 minutes more. Combine and puree all ingredients in a blender, then wrap in plastic wrap and freeze to store until ready to use.
