The following whole food recipes are principally vegetarian, although ingredients can always be added or
substituted to make them vegan, or even non-vegetarian. (See
pantry basics for information
on customizing these and other recipes to suit your needs).

Sesame Snacks
Pour a thin layer of honey glaze over a
sheet of waxed paper then sprinkle a layer of flax or sesame seeds over top. Roll out flat (about 1/4" thick), adding
enough seeds to prevent sticking. Let sit for coating to harden then cut into small rectangles about 2" wide by 4" long.
