The following whole food recipes are principally vegetarian, although ingredients can always be added or substituted to make them vegan, or even non-vegetarian. (See pantry basics for information on customizing these and other recipes to suit your needs).

Scalloped Potatoes
6 skinned potatoes
5C cheese sauce
2tsp garlic powder
2tsp onion powder
1tsp dill weed (optional)
1/2tsp pepper

Slice potatoes into thin rounds and put into a baking dish. Make cheese sauce, mixing in garlic and onion powders, dill weed and pepper. Cover potatoes with cheese sauce mixture and bake at 350F for 30-45 minutes or until potatoes are tender.


For Sour Cream & Onion Flavor: replace 1C cheese sauce with 1C sour cream and add 1tbsp diced green onions.
