The following whole food recipes are principally vegetarian, although ingredients can always be added or
substituted to make them vegan, or even non-vegetarian. (See
pantry basics for information
on customizing these and other recipes to suit your needs).

Sugar Glaze
1C powdered sugar
1/4C milk
1tbsp butter
Combine ingredients in a saucepan and heat on low, stirring until sugar dissolves.
For Honey Glaze: use honey instead of powdered sugar
For Yogurt Glaze: add 2tbsp vanilla yogurt and reduce milk to 1tbsp
