Recipes

The following whole food recipes are principally vegetarian, although ingredients can always be added or substituted to make them vegan, or even non-vegetarian. (See pantry basics for information on customizing these and other recipes to suit your needs).

Pumpkin Pie
1 1/2C mashed pumpkin
1C milk
1/2C honey
1/2C plain yogurt
1tsp vanilla extract
1tsp cinnamon
1/2tsp nutmeg
1/4tsp allspice
1/4tsp ginger
1/4tsp sea salt
Pinch of powdered cloves

Combine and mix together all ingredients, then cover a pie pan (or two) with a pie shell and pour pumpkin mixture over top. Bake at 350F for 1 hour or until a fork inserted through the middle of the pie comes out clean.
