The following whole food recipes are principally vegetarian, although ingredients can always be added or
substituted to make them vegan, or even non-vegetarian. (See
pantry basics for information
on customizing these and other recipes to suit your needs).

Pizza Sauce
2C tomato sauce
1/4C water
1/4C chopped onions
2 cloves minced garlic
1 1/2tsp oregano
1/2tsp sea salt
1/4tsp basil
1/4tsp thyme
Saute onions and garlic in oil; combine in a large saucepan with other ingredients and simmer 30 minutes, then
remove from heat.
