The following whole food recipes are principally vegetarian, although ingredients can always be added or
substituted to make them vegan, or even non-vegetarian. (See
pantry basics for information
on customizing these and other recipes to suit your needs).

Pecan Pie
1C pecan halves
1C brown sugar
1/2C honey
1/2C vanilla yogurt
2tbsp melted butter
2tbsp starch
1tbsp lemon juice
1tsp vanilla
1/4tsp sea salt
pie shell
Combine and mix together ingredients, then cover the bottom of a pie pan with a pie shell and spoon pecan mixture
onto the shell, filling to the top. Crimp edges of the pie shell and bake at 350F for 20-30 minutes or until solid.
