Nutrino Bars
flour
2C nut/seed butter
1/2C honey
1/4C apple powder
1/4C date or fig powder
2tbsp vanilla yogurt
2tbsp milk
1tbsp oil
1/2tsp sea salt
1/4tsp nutrino extract
melted chocolate chips
In a large bowl mix together nut/seed butter, honey, yogurt and milk. Stir in apple powder, date or fig powder,
oil, sea salt and nutrino extract, then mix in enough flour to form a stiff ball of dough. Roll dough flat (about
1/2" thick) on a floured surface and line a cookie sheet with waxed paper. Transfer dough to cookie sheet,
rolling out again to fill in all the corners and even it out, then cut the dough into bars about 1 1/2" wide by 5" long
and cover completely with a thin layer of melted chocolate chips; refrigerate 2hrs or until coating has hardened. Turn
over nutrino bars and cover completely with another layer of melted chocolate chips; refrigerate another 2hrs or until
coating has hardened. Take out and put in individual baggies, then store in a cool place or in the refrigerator.
For Homemade Snickers Bars: top with a thin layer of caramel sauce and chopped nuts before coating with chocolate
