Recipes

The following whole food recipes are principally vegetarian, although ingredients can always be added or substituted to make them vegan, or even non-vegetarian. (See pantry basics for information on customizing these and other recipes to suit your needs).

Macaroni Salad
2C cooked macaroni noodles
1C mayonnaise
1/4C sliced olives
1 stalk diced celery
1 chopped tomato
1/2 chopped onion
1/2 diced red bell pepper
1 diced pickle
1tbsp vinegar
1tbsp mustard
1/2tsp sea salt
1/4tsp pepper

Mix together all ingredients in a large bowl and refrigerate overnight before serving.


For Potato Salad: don't add tomato, and replace macaroni noodles with 8 chopped, boiled potatoes; boiled eggs (chopped) and/or ranch dressing may also be added
