The following whole food recipes are principally vegetarian, although ingredients can always be added or substituted to make them vegan, or even non-vegetarian. (See pantry basics for information on customizing these and other recipes to suit your needs).

Fruit & Veggie Juices
Wash and prepare fresh fruits, berries and/or veggies for juicing (how you do this really depends on the type of juicer you are using) and juice!

* Note: fruit and veggie juices taste best if refigerated overnight before drinking; the pulp can also be saved and used for making fruit and veggie breads later


Apple Ginger: 4 apples, 2" fresh ginger, 1 lemon, 4oz water to dilute
Apple Grape: 2 apples, 1 large bunch of grapes, 1 slice lemon peel
Apple Spice: 2 apples, 1 pear, 2 cinnamon sticks, 1/4tsp nutmeg
Blueberry Pomegranate: 4C blueberries, 1/4C pomegranate juice, 4 drops juniper berry extract
Bug Juice: 5 apples, 2 pears, 1/2 honeydew, 1 cucumber, 1/4tsp mint extract, pinch of powdered ginger (optional)
Carrot Ginger: 1C cold water, 1 carrot, 1 stalk celery, 1/2 apple, 1" piece fresh ginger
Detox Juice: 2C water, 1C nutrino juice, 1C blueberries, 8 apples, 8 carrots
Dragon's Blood: 1/2C watermelon, 1/2C cherries, 1/2C blueberries, 1/2C raspberries, 1/2C strawberries, 5 carrots, 2 apples
Fruit Punch: 4C apple cider, 6 oranges, 1 lemon, 1C pineapple, 1/2C grapes, 1/2C chosen berries
Ginger Grape: 2C red grapes, 2" fresh ginger, 1 lemon, 4oz water to dilute
Hawaiian Punch: 4C pineapple, 1C grapes or blueberries, 12 strawberries, 2 apples, 1 orange, 1/2 lemon
Melon Dew: 2 parts watermelon, 1 part cantaloupe, 1 part honey dew
Nutrino Juice: 6 1/2C juice of choice or water, 1C alfalfa (leaf), 1C barley sprouts and grasses (each), 2C carrots, 1C soybean sprouts and grasses (each), 1/2C sunflower sprouts and grasses (each); provides all water soluble nutrients (based on a 20000 calorie/day diet)
Orange Tang: 2 oranges, 1/2 lemon, 1/2 grapefruit
Parrot Juice: 8 carrots, 4 apples, 2 stalks celery or a handful of strawberries
Pearberry: 6 pears, 2 apples, 1/2C seedless grapes or blueberries
Pina Colada: 1 very ripe pineapple, 4 bananas, 1C fresh coconut meat, 1 lemon
Very Veggie: 2C water, 1C spinach, 1/2C parsley, 8 carrots, 6 tomatoes, 4 stalks celery, 2 cucumbers, 1tbsp sea salt, 2tsp sugar, 1tsp lemon juice, 1/4tsp basil, pinch of pepper
Wassail Punch: 8C apple cider, 1 orange, 1/2C brown sugar, 1tsp clove powder, 1/2tsp allspice, 1/2tsp cinnamon, pinch of nutmeg; bring to a boil, remove from heat and either serve hot or let cool and refrigerate overnight
Water Berry: 1/2C seedless watermelon, 1/4C berries (you choose), 1tsp lime juice, water to dilute


* Juices that go well together: carrot, beet, celery, apple, cucumber and green veggie juices (including sprouts and grasses); peach, pear, apple and grape juices; mango, papaya, pineapple, lemon, lime, orange and kiwi juices; all melon juices; how much of which juices you include (or exclude) in your concontions are entirely up to you
