The following whole food recipes are principally vegetarian, although ingredients can always be added or
substituted to make them vegan, or even non-vegetarian. (See
pantry basics for information
on customizing these and other recipes to suit your needs).

Bean & Cheese Burritos
flour tortillas
1C refried beans
1/2C cooked beans
1/2C Spanish rice
1/4C diced green chilies
1tbsp taco seasoning
Salsa, sour cream and grated cheese
To make burrito filling combine and mix refried beans, cooked beans, Spanish rice, green chilies and
taco seasoning. Put about 1/2C burrito filling
on each tortilla, then smooth flat with a spoon; top with grated cheese, salsa and sour cream. Close both ends of each burrito
and roll. Brush outside of burritos lightly with oil and bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
