The following whole food recipes are principally vegetarian, although ingredients can always be added or
substituted to make them vegan, or even non-vegetarian. (See
pantry basics for information
on customizing these and other recipes to suit your needs).

Butterscotch Syrup
3/4C brown sugar
1/2C whipped cream
1/2C honey
2tbsp butter
1tsp vanilla
Combine brown sugar, honey and butter in a saucepan; bring to a boil and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat, quickly stir in whipped cream and vanilla, then use, or bottle and refrigerate.
