Banana Cream Pie
1 pie shell
2 pureed bananas
1 sliced banana
1/2C milk
1/2C sour cream
1/2C vanilla pudding
1/2C whipped cream
1tbsp slivered almonds
1tsp lemon juice
1/4tsp almond powder

Mix together pureed bananas, milk, sour cream, pudding, whipped cream and lemon juice, then set aside. Cover the inside of a pie pan with a pie shell and fit to shape of the pan. Crimp edges of pie shell and bake 10-15 minutes or until golden brown and shell holds its shape. Add filling in layers, starting with 1/2 sliced banana, then the pureed banana mixture and a 1" thick layer of whipped cream. Top with the rest of the sliced banana, slivered almonds and almond powder; refrigerate.

For Chocolate Cream Pie: replace pureed bananas with chocolate or carob pudding, do not include sliced bananas in the bottom of the pie, and drizzle chocolate syrup over top (instead of sliced banana)
