The following whole food recipes are principally vegetarian, although ingredients can always be added or
substituted to make them vegan, or even non-vegetarian. (See
pantry basics for information
on customizing these and other recipes to suit your needs).

Any Fruit Sherbet
4C fruit syrup
1C vanilla yogurt
1C frozen fruit
1C fruit juice
3 mashed bananas
Puree fruit syrup, fruit juice, frozen fruit and mashed bananas in a blender. Transfer mixture to ice cube trays
and freeze until almost hard, then combine with yogurt and puree again; freeze.
