Alternative Medicines
Alternative Medicines (continued - p2 of 2)
Common medical conditions are also frequently redefined as "diseases" in order to increase regulation, control and thereby
profits from pharmaceutical drugs. If suppressing the truth about natural cures isn't enough to deter people from using something
other than drugs or surgery as medicine, the media is then used as a quick and simple tool for feeding the public with medical
propaganda and other disinformation.
Today's Allopathic Medicine
The goal of mainstream medicine is apparently no longer to prevent or cure disease, but rather to prolong ill health by
using drugs or surgery to treat symptoms without first addressing the cause. Allopathic medical communities as a whole are not
interested in disease prevention, primarily for the
same reason that manufacturers avoid making products that never need replacing... that is, repeat customers are more profitable.
Clearly drugs are not made so people will never have to buy them again. Thus drug companies, pharmacies and drug dealers all make
a living via the same basic method (i.e., by dealing dangerous drugs, and getting customers 'hooked' so they keep coming back for
more).
Due to medical mistakes including misdiagnosis, surgical errors and prescription drugs (taken as prescribed),
allopathic medical industries are now the leading cause of death in the US, followed by heart disease and cancer. It has been
estimated that we have an average 40% chance of being misdiagnosed and an average 20% chance of being prescribed the wrong drugs
or drugs in the wrong dose. It has also been found that we have an average 30% chance of being healed via the placebo effect and
about a 20% chance of being of being healed by prayer. Indeed, we are just as likely to be healed by the placebo affect
and prayer combined as we are to be healed by allopathic medicine, yet commercial health care industries continue to be extremely
profitable, so long as people are not truly healed.
Take Two of These, and Hope You're Alive in the Morning
At least 250,000 people die every year from the use (not misuse) of pharmaceutical drugs, nearly all of which have side
effects that are often worse than the original symptoms, may cause addiction or may even be fatal. Drugs approved by the FDA,
prescribed by doctors and sold by pharmacists have a lethal dose of 50%, meaning 50% of all experimental animals will die from
their use. Pharmaceutical drugs actually cause more diseases than they cure, as they are intentionally designed to treat
the symptoms of illness and disease, but not the cause (which inevitably leads to the use of more and more drugs).
Holistic Health and Naturopathic Alternatives
Naturopathic medicine is primarily based on preventative healthcare, which relies on the body's ornate ability to heal itself,
while treating underlying causes of symptoms before the symptoms themselves, using a safe and natural approach. Foods, herbs and
other natural remedies were the medicine of our ancestors, and are still used as such by the natural healthcare practitioners of
today. Medicinal properties aside, such remedies
generally produce little to no side effects (so long as they are not combined with pharmaceutical drugs), and they are simple
enough to use that we can produce our own natural
herbal and medicinal preparations at home for free.
